What I offer

Face2Face/ Virtual consultations

  • All consultations can be done Face2Face or via telephone or Skype.
  • Initial confidential consultations will take approximately 1 hour and will involve lots of discussion, to ensure you are safe at home, whilst on the job, and during your hobbies and leisure time. 
  • All follow up appointments will vary be either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on what I would advise and what you would engage with the most!

Joint mobilisations

  • A hands on technique which increases your range of movement at a joint when the limiting factor is not caused by tight muscles.
  • These movements are impossible to self- perform and require the assistance of a physiotherapist.
  • Exercise prescription to follow to ensure a non- passive treatment approach.

Massage treatments

  • Promotes healing, muscle pliability and general healthiness.
  • Provides feelings of euphoria and inhibits pain.

Anxiety management

  • Advised on how to prioritise and plan current or future events in your life.
  • Educated on the locus of control.
  • Instructed on relaxation techniques.
  • Recommended to participate in a form of physical activity.

Exercise/ Rehabilitation programes

  • Exercise is a fantastic holistic treatment modality which targets both your physical and mental health and is one of the best ways to get in shape and keep in shape! 
  • Whether you are injured or not, sustainable enhancements will be made to your physical fitness, strength, and flexibility, in addition to your body confidence, self- efficacy and social interactions.

Kinesiology taping

  • Supports the surrounding muscles and joints, whilst not restricting normal movements.
  • Address any postural instability or poor muscle functioning through proprioception.
  • Reduces pain.
  • Works in conjunction with an Exercise/ Rehabilitation programme.

Health coaching and SMART goal setting

  • A non- traditional conversational technique which safely challenges your behaviour, by delving deep into your thoughts and feelings to challenge the way in which you perceive the world.
  • Health coaching provides you with an opportunity to actively reason your lifestyle choices and be able to self- recognise if any changes could be implemented.
  • Due to this empowerment, I can help direct you to independently create your own SMART goals which are paramount for you to monitor your own direction and level of performance.
