My accomplishments 

Due to the Covid- 19 pandemic, I realised there was a gap in the market due to sporting venues being closed indefinitely. As I have already had previous experience using online methods such as zoom with the "THRIVE" project, I decided to offer virtual sessions, allowing for me to accurately prescribe home exercise programmes (HEPs).

Prior to my University studies I volunteered at Restore7 Ltd. to gain some experience in healthcare. The main focus with this branch of physiotherapy was to increase each patient's/ client's quality of life as much as possible by promoting upmost independence. As a result each patient received individualised and specific exercises to improve strength, flexibility and pain.

During my time with the "Wildcats" I gained lots of experience with massaging elite athletes of all somatotypes. This treatment modality is vital as this assists with reducing both physical and mental stressors that the players picked up during training days or matches days.

MSK OPD taught me how to complete thorough assessments in a timely manner and how to prescribe suitable exercises to patients/ clients to alleviate any aggravating or limiting factors of their daily lives.
