During my time with the "Wildcats" I gained lots of experience with massaging elite athletes of all somatotypes. This treatment modality is vital as this assists with reducing both physical and mental stressors that the players picked up during training days or matches days.

Next, I was able to offer new and partner based body weight strengthening exercises to all the players, which reduced the tedium of repetitive exercises. Furthermore, one player in particular took an interest to my background in gymnastics and asked me if I could prescribe him an individualised and gymnastics orientated strengthening exercise programme.

Finally, the head physiotherapist asked myself and another physiotherapist to drive a player to surgery, as he required treatment on his ACL. After observing the surgery with my own eyes, this immediately gave me a  greater appreciation for how people truly feel post- operation. Regarding this player's rehabilitation, lots of 1-on-1 treatment was required in the form of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, which aims to simultaneously improve both muscular strength and flexibility.
